Known for his kind bedside manner, natural-looking surgical results, and artistic talent, Dr. John B. Fasano has been practicing the Art of Plastic Surgery in Stuart for more than 20 years. Dr. Fasano is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, The American Society of Plastic Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the Martin County Medical Society, and a member of the Board of Directors at Martin Memorial Hospital in Stuart, Dr. Fasano has been chief of surgery at Martin Memorial Hospital nine times. Dr. Fasano received much of his training in Europe and uses those techniques to create beautiful, natural-looking results, while performing less traumatic procedures, which often results in faster healing times, less bruising, and decreased complication rates. He has consistently voted as the No. 1 plastic surgeon in the area by the community. He attends continuing education multiple times through the year to offer the most advanced techniques and state of the art care for his patients. Dr. Fasano graduated from Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Medical School. He trained in General Surgery in New York, and Plastic Surgery at the University of Florida, Shands Hospital. Dr. Fasano speaks French, allowing for part of his training to occur in Paris, Lille, and Versailles (France), where he studied with world-famous European surgeons.
